While our patients are treated by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, their family and friends can sit back in our lounge area and enjoy complimentary coffee and juice, wireless internet access, a plasma screen TV and a children’s play center with mobile entertainment systems.
With 14 private treatment rooms and ample staff, Emergency Health Centre is prepared to deal with all medical emergencies, regardless of patient volume. With a dedicated ambulance bay next to our two major treatment rooms, the most serious patients arriving by ambulance are directly placed in a rapid response area. A dedicated EMS lounge area provides ambulance drivers and medics with a restful retreat while providing Emergency Health Centre with easy access to these vitally important first responders.
Emergency Health Centre’s full-service laboratory and on-site diagnostic center allows our doctors to provide diagnosis and treatment based upon rapid and accurate test results without the long delays associated with sending patients or their lab studies to off-site labs and imaging centers.
Emergency Health Centre also features the latest in medical technology and diagnostic tools, including a 64-slice CT scanner, the first scanner capable of providing clear images of the heart and its major vessels in less than five seconds.
