Doctors Open Emergency Center With Advanced Customer Service

Even Michael Garfield, the High-Tech Texan, was onsite to commend the groundbreaking of the Emergency Health Centre at Willowbrook, 22475 Tomball Pkwy., slated for operation in spring 2007.

The 21st Century technological facility is a union of state-of-the-art healthcare using the latest gadgets while delivering some of the best in quality customer service.

 

"It's a very special day because this is the very first concierge emergency center and we'll see that as it's built," Garfield said. "These are very good doctors who've seen the issues and problems of delivering care immediately and with some immediacy."

 

The founding physicians created the full-service diagnostic and imaging emergency department in a fast growing community which lacked a few essentials in healthcare.

 

"It took us 2 ½ years to come to this day," they said. "This is the first center of its type bringing in cutting-edge technology. We believe in customer service - hand-holding, nurturing and bringing care that has been lost over the years in acute healthcare, and I'm sure the community will appreciate that."

 

Their location on the Tomball Parkway between Louetta Road and Spring-Cypress Road fills a void in the community because the nearest medical centers are Tomball Medical Center or Willowbrook Methodist Hospital, whose travel times could be critical during an escalating situation.

 

"Our facility minimizes the wait period of the two major hospitals and gives people a chance to experience what community healthcare is all about".

 

Emergency Health Centre is currently developing relationships with physicians in the area to partner up with patient care. Among the technology provided is a patient medical (Advantage) that holds patient information, recent visits and even the name of their physician.

 

Patients use that card on each visit to the Emergency Health Centre, minimizing typical registration wait periods by eliminating paperwork while also making that information readily available for their general physician. Patients can pre-register for the medical card online.
